Plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine study event 2024

We are delighted to invite former participants of the University of Winchester Plant-Based Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine for cancer prevention and survivorship courses to join our lunchtime study event, held via Teams. This is a unique opportunity to bring your knowledge of plant-based lifestyle medicine for human health up to date with the latest scientific studies.

The event will be accredited for 2 CPD hours, and you will receive a certificate of attendance afterwards. This event will be recorded and a copy of the recording available to anyone booking a place.

12.00pm - Importance of Lifestyle Medicine in Women's Health Consultations - Dr Victoria Nute, British Society of Lifestyle Medicine accredited NHS GP and BMS menopause specialist.

12.30pm - Plants for Health: an evidenced-based lifestyle program for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and cardiovascular disease - Dr Carlijn Wagenaar, Physician and PhD student; Dr Wendy Walrabenstein, RD and researcher.

1.00pm  - Recent Advances in Integrative Oncology - Dr Aryan Tavakkoli, Consultant Physician and Integrative Medicine Practitioner

1.30pm  - Q&A with the speakers
