Effective Coaching to support School Leadership and School Improvement

One-day effective coaching course.

Course Description

This course, led by Jonathan Hannam, introduces non-directive coaching, using the GROW model. Increasingly leaders in school have an ever-spiralling workload and the need to grow and develop others within the organisation to build capacity is essential. Coaching is a key tool to create self-improving schools and is one of Daniel Goleman’s six leadership styles. It is also a key behaviour of a multiplier leader.

If there are not sufficient numbers to run the course face to face, it might be necessary for the University of Winchester to move the delivery online.

Cancellation by the University

The University of Winchester reserves the right to cancel a course (if, for example, there are insufficent numbers). If this occurs, we will refund your course fee in full.

Cancellation by you

Refunds will be given if written notification is received at least 14 days before the start of a course with a fixed course date. No refunds will be given with less than 14 days notice.

Refund arrangements

Any refunds will be made to the credit/debit card used when making the purchase.
