DescriptionAs a wargaming forum, the event offers high quality hosted miniatures games, using a variety of rulesets, and short wargaming-related history talks on the Viking Age. The aim is to provide a space for wargaming and history to meet with some fun gaming that is historically grounded. The event will take place on Saturday 21st November, 9am-5.45pm - SAB 001 and SAB 002 (St Alphege Building, King Alfred Campus).

Additional ItemsMore InformationThe event will have two gaming slots, and participants may play one of a number of hosted games, which use a variety of rulesets, in each slot. Everything will be provided and no previous experience is needed – just book in, turn up and play. The provisional list of hosts and games is: James Morris & Chums, Tettenhall 910 (Midgard, 28mm); Lee Sanders, Maldon 991 (Midgard, 28mm), Stuart Jordan, Edington 878 (Midgard, 28mm), Mark Barker, TBA (Pillage 28mm), Mark Backhouse, 1066 Hastings Campaign (Strength & Honour, 3mm), Matt Slade, Battle of Hastings 1066 (Midgard, 28mm), Simon Macdowall and Andy Hawes, Maldon 991 (Comitatus, 28mm), Wessex Wargamers Winchester, Brunanburh 937 (ruleset TBA), Winchester University Students, TBA. The final list of hosted games from which to select preferences will be sent out after booking closes, approx. 3 weeks before the event.
